1. Estimates, not tax advice

Our tools calculate estimates based on the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 and the information you enter. They are not legal, tax or accounting advice. You are responsible for checking results and for your filings and remittances. For official filing, consult your tax authority or a qualified tax professional. ProjectFirm is independent and not affiliated with the Nigeria Revenue Service or any State Internal Revenue Service.

2. Individual calculator

• Your total tax is always shown free. The calculator page may show advertising. The employer pages never do.
• The full result (step-by-step breakdown, take-home pay, effective tax rate, and print or PDF) costs a one-off payment per result: ₦50 for employees (PAYE), ₦100 for the self-employed and freelancers, and ₦200 for companies.
• One payment unlocks the result for the figures entered. Changing the figures creates a new result. On the same device and browser, a result you've unlocked stays unlocked.
• There is no free trial for individual results.

3. Employer PAYE Schedule

• Price: ₦25 per employee for each payroll month processed. Re-running a month you've already paid for, with the same or fewer employees, is free; adding employees to a paid month costs ₦25 for each extra employee. The minimum single payment is ₦50.
• Free month: new employer accounts get their first month free. During that month you can process payroll at no cost, whatever the size of your staff. It's limited to one free month per account and per employer TIN.
• No subscription: you pay only when you process a payroll month, and nothing is charged automatically.
• Payments are processed by Paystack in Nigerian naira.
• Prices may change. Changes won't affect months you've already paid for.

4. Refunds

If you were charged in error, or the service didn't work as described, contact us within 7 days of payment and we'll review your request. Approved refunds are made through Paystack.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no attempts to bypass payment or trial limits, interfere with the service, or use another person's account. Each employer account is for the employer that created it.

6. Availability

We work to keep the site available and accurate but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features and calculations, for example when tax rules change.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ProjectFirm is not liable for losses arising from reliance on estimates, errors in data you provide, or delays in filing or remittance. Our total liability for any payment is limited to the amount of that payment.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
